ASC is an Independent, Alternative Micro-School that offers more than the Cambridge International Curriculum. ASC has been designed to cater for the individual and aims to foster a love of learning so that our students are able to reach their full potential at their own pace. ASC provides a unique homely environment staffed with dedicated educators who understand the vision of the School and are on hand to support and motivate each child along their educational journey.
In our Multi-age classrooms, attention is drawn to the range of talents and abilities of each child, rather than their age. This student centred approach, allows for social, emotional and academic growth.
Our focus at ASC is to develop skills which will provide learners with a strong foundation for the future such as collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, research and autonomy of learning. At ASC we strategise and apply different learning and teaching methods that cater to the individual, preparing students for success in an increasingly complex world.
Our Schools
Primary School
Grade 1 – 6
The Primary Centre is structured to accommodate workshops based on the Cambridge International Curriculum. In order to expand on theoretical knowledge, our Montessori trained educators ensure that pupils gain a deeper and practical understanding of the subject matter by utilising Montessori equipment as educational aids in the fully equipped Montessori Room.
Lower Secondary School
Grade 7 – 9
The Lower Secondary School campus has a fully-equipped Science Laboratory, Computer Room and a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) project room. STEAM methodology teaches relevant critical, computational, communication, collaboration, leadership and technology literacy skills – all crucial for students to set themselves apart in their future workplaces.
Senior School
IGCSE AS & A-Levels
ASC Senior School has been relocated to a new property in St. Andrews Bedfordview, to accommodate our natural expansion. The campus offers large interactive spaces, workshop rooms, a fully equipped science laboratory and a tuck shop.
ASC Senior Campus offers Cambridge International IGCSE, AS and A-Levels.
